What a desk here costs us to run

People are surprised that we will tell them what a desk costs us, so here it is: rent and rates, both internet lines, the coffee and the kitchen, the cleaning, and the wages of the three people who keep the place open, added up and divided by sixty desks. The monthly desk price sits a little above that, and the gap is what pays for the months a desk sits empty.
